This weeks “Foraged Mary”

Wednesday night has become Bloody Mary night and evolved into Foraged Mary night, where we “forage” the back yard for garnishes.

This one was made with Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mixer, worcestershire, Cholula Jalapeno Sauce, horse radish, stolen celery bitters and Smirnoff vodka.

Glass is rimmed with Rimshot Mix, good stuff right there.

As to the forage, this time we have baby carrot, wild garlic flowers, parsley, cutting celery, nasturtium, watercress, lambs quarter and locust flowers.

Then the top is sprinkled with autumn olive blossoms which are tiny, smell like honey and float.

So join us and forage up a Mary, you can cheat a bit, the carrot is store bought in mine, but try to use stuff from the garden or woods and see what you can come up with.  I think the first mulberries will be ripe soon!

So hey show us your Foraged Mary.

Hey if you have not already done so, subscribe to us, you know you want to, we have a lot of fun around here.  Come on do it, we never spam (unless we cook some) and never share your info with anyone, only dicks do that.

  1. I like all the ingredients of a Bloody Mary and I ‘ve tried very hard to like them since they seem like a healthful boozy drink–but the sum is less than the parts. The taste does not make my mouth happy. So, I’ll just stick with gin and tonic and protect myself from the threat of malaria. LOL
